Great time, happy place, tired pup!!
AmericInn by Wyndham AshlandPerfect location, super accommodating for pups! I have a 13 month Golden Retriever with loads of energy. AmericInn was so accommodating and accessible. The room was neat and tidy, the hotel had plenty of grass/potty places and right on the lake. Can’t go wrong taking your pup to the area, tons to do! The only thing to be aware of is that the BringFido app states $25.00 per stay for dogs, it was actually $50. Not a big deal at all, just be aware-maybe an update post covid? Highly recommend!!

Great location!
Caribou Highlands LodgeSo appreciate having a place where dogs are welcome! The accommodations were comfortable, perfect location and the North Shore overall was so welcoming to pups. Taking one bone off only because we were supposed to get a Welcome basket (poochpack) upon arrival and didn’t. I went to the room and re-checked my reservation info to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. When I went back to the desk and asked about it, since the reservation did say that we were to get one, the gal at the desk seemed put off and resistive to giving it to us. She did give it to us, so not sure why she acted so upset by my request. It was a bag with a water bottle and pup dishes. There was supposed to be treats and other miscellaneous items which we didn’t get. Not a big deal, but I would have preferred it not have been promised at all than to have gotten the resistance from this particular staff person. All else was well and we had a great time. I do highly recommend otherwise!!
