Next door to the Tina Turner Museum!
Days Inn by Wyndham BrownsvilleA modest but clean dog-friendly Days Inn that just happens to be right next door to the Tina Turner Museum, as we discovered. The museum was closed when we were there but there's lots of nice green lawn for a doggie romp and you can see the one-room schoolhouse Tina attended. Made being in the middle of nowhere fun.

Great place
Best Western Eagles InnSuper clean and nice room, and nice staff. Don Senor's restaurant next door is excellent Mexican food (we did take-out). Check out nearby Rodburn Hollow Park, in Morehead, for a great hike in the woods.

Best Western Plus Lonoke HotelNice staff, and large and spotlessly clean room. Their COVID protocols were excellent. And a decent Mexican restaurant right next door.

Paradise InnWe had a huge room with sliding doors out to big lawn -- great for taking the dog out. The staff was helpful and friendly, pointing us to dog-friendly restaurants nearby. We loved this place!

Nice place for the price
Travelodge by Wyndham MansfieldAlthough older, the place was very clean and the location was quiet with some nice green space adjacent. The front desk staff person was super friendly and efficient.

Super 8 by Wyndham LakelandThe room was clean though the outside of this place looks a bit shabby. We were thrilled to find a sweet, nicely kept park one block away, next to a fire station (you'll pass it on the way off the hwy). Plenty of space for a romp on the grass.

Super 8 by Wyndham Shepherdsville / Louisville South I65Some furniture in the room was a bit worn, but otherwise the room was clean. Not much green space outside.

Shabby place.
Quality InnThe first room we had didn't have working AC -- and a cruddy, stained tub. The second room was a bit less shabby, though rusty water came outta the shower spigot when first turned out. The elevator is scary -- dented door and half the buttons don't seem to work. Yuck.

OK for the price
Motel 6 Hamburg NYThe room was clean, though the place is worn around the edges. But it's a Motel 6, so what do you expect. Still, this was an affordable — and available — option during the busy summer season. There was a patch of green space on the premises too that our dog appreciated.

Great Super 8 in Seville
Super 8 by Wyndham SevilleTerrific stay after a long day on the road. Squeaky clean rooms, nice front desk staff and a great green space in back for a good romp with our blue heeler mix.
