Some good, some bad...
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Fredericksburg South (I-95) VAOverall our stay was fine. The Check-in process was sub-par and customer service by the check in clerk was slow and convoluted. Room was nice and clean and plenty of space outside for dog walks. I like the poop stands and loved the pickup and go breakfast bag.

Beware
Best Western Woodbury InnThis hotel obviously has, at some point in time, been a nice place to stay. The setting is nice and secluded. Time has not been kind.
Our very outdated room was extremely smelly and not clean. It’s definitely not “leading industry standards” as Best Western claims. The metal stairs leading to the second floor are terribly slick, rusted almost through in spots and dangerous. The desk clerk was very kind when I canceled our remaining nights. I didn’t tell her had we not been exhausted from a very tough drive we would have left immediately. On the positive side, the lobby is equipped with nice array of fruit drinks, fresh fruit, teas and coffee. There is also abundant parking, not surprising.
