Very Happy!
Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell RockThis hotel was so accommodating to not only me, but my dog as well. All dogs have to stay on the first floor, which we had a little patio area and a spot for my dog to go to the bathroom which was perfect. We also got a little doggy care package when we checked in which was so cute! It included a bandana, a tag, some treats and a brochure that had pet friendly activities and restaurants in the area as well as a dog room service menu! I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be going here again if I am ever in Sedona!
Great!
Doggy Dude Ranch - PERMANENTLY CLOSEDLeft my dog here overnight the night before we were waking up to go to Zion so we could head in early. The staff were great they definitely love what they do! They take the dogs out to play and spend time with them inside as well. My dog had a great time whenever I go back to Zion I am definitely taking him here again!
Amazing view!
Pikes Peak HighwayThis was a great stop in Colorado, the view was so incredible. I will say that you do need to watch your dog with the altitude, my dog was fine for the most part but I did notice him getting a bit tired and slowing down while we were at the summit, so I went and sat in the car with him for a bit but he ended up being fine! Dogs are not allowed in the store at the top so you will have to wait outside with them!
Dogs allowed inside!
Garden of the Gods Trading PostObviously since this is on here they are allowed inside the store, I was very happy to be able to go inside with the rest of my party instead of having to wait outside like I had been at other places. Overall this is a good stop for any souvenirs and t shirts, nothing to incredible for your animals, just that they are allowed to go in with you.
My dogs favorite spot!
Red Rock Canyon Open SpaceMy dog absolutely loved this space. There is an off leash dog park not far up from the parking lot right as you come in, its the perfect spot to toss a ball or frisbee around. I will say there are plenty of cacti around so be cautious, but my dog did pretty well of keeping clear of them. There is also a lake right up the trail from the second parking lot which he lost his mind being able to jump in, cool off and play for a bit. Overall a very nice spot for your animals.
Incredible
Garden of the GodsThis was definitely one of my favorite spots while in Colorado. My dog loved getting to hike up to the top of the big rocks and walking along the trails. The views are absolutely incredible. The trails aren't hard at all, some have some steps to hike up but nothing too extreme, overall a great place for both my dog and I.
Good nature walk
Seven FallsThe walk up to Seven Falls is paved, but alongside the road is the creek/river. It was nice to walk up that section and get to see the nature part of the walk. Once you get to the falls, you can take your dog up the elevator to get a view, or you can take them up the stairs a little farther up. The stairs are high and there are a lot of them, so if your dog doesn't like stairs I would be careful. It was a great spot to visit with my dog, he loved it!!
