Quirky and great location
Best Western Coach HouseTucked away among strip/shopping/hotel environs, this little hideaway was a very pleasant surprise. The room was in great condition, clean and quiet, with echos of old Route 66 or 30. Pleasant dog lawn area, a little playground and a little pool that added to the quaint atmosphere. Staff were professional, friendly and informative.
Accessibility was ok, dog did fine, but location is shop worn.
Days Inn by Wyndham HolbrookThere were holes in the furniture and no cups available in the room. They cited covid rationale, but wrapped cups were available at breakfast juice station so I couldn't quite understand that one. Cups for water for medication would have been great.
Location was fine, room was expensive but clean- dog was ok, but several maintenance problems
Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Amarillo an IHG HotelThe front door did not open without manually sliding the door open which was a problem with full hands. Our sun shade in the room was broken and the second floor hall had litter on the floor. The solo breakfast staff was overwhelmed with customers this morning and struggling to serve. The added $40.00 on top of (on the high side) the room fee seemed too high for troubled facility.
