Clean and quiet
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mechanicsburg - HarrisburgThe room was very clean, comfortable bed, no issues at all. Staff was friendly and check in/out was quick and easy. Plenty of grassy areas to walk. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel!
Candlewood Suites MORGANTOWN-UNIV WEST VIRGINIA an IHG HotelVery clean, comfortable bed, quiet, overall great stay. They had no problem allowing me to bring 3 dogs. Only small downside is that there's not a lot of grassy area to walk. The hotel is up on a huge hill and a lot of the grass is a steep hill that you can't easily walk on. The outside area is pretty much just a huge parking lot. I would definitely stay here again, though.

Clean but not fancy
Motel 6 New Cumberland PA - Harrisburg - Hershey SouthThis hotel was fine, you definitely get what you pay for. The room was clean but slightly run down. It was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled faintly like cigarettes. I was only in the room from late at night until early the next morning so I let it go, otherwise I would have asked for a different room. On the plus side they did allow me to have 3 dogs even though it says only 2.

Room was okay, but no elevators at this hotel
Clarion Inn Frederick Event CenterBe aware that there is no elevator at this hotel. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time since I was traveling with someone with limited mobility. Also dragging a bunch of suitcases up the steps isn't really a good time. The room overall was okay. It was very clean. Several of the lamps didn't work and the light just inside the doorway flickered. There was no bedding for the pull-out sofa bed and there were only 2 towels for a room that can accommodate 4 people. The door to go outside from the stairwell kept getting stuck so you basically had to body slam it open. This was unless the door was stuck on the outside rug leaving it wide open. On the plus side, there is plenty of grass to walk the dogs and it's well lit.

TGI FridaysThey do not allow dogs outside. We tried in August of 2019 and were told no.
