Wrong Room
Best Western Hospitality Hotel & SuitesTerrible experience. Would NEVER stay here again. Gave wrong room upon arrival and despite indicating they would correct the error, never remedied. Plus, though promised to comp one night that never happened either. But if you do have an affinity for cockroaches this is the hotel for you!
Great Staff
Days Inn by Wyndham ConneautStaff was what made our stay special. Whatever we brought to their attention was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Nice location for where we wanted to visit for 4-5 days. Will stay here again.
Dog friendly if you can stand the cigarette smoke
Clarion Hotel Williamsburg I-64Happy to locate a dog friendly hotel in the Williamsburg, VA area BUT as we were staying on the first floor (necessary with a support animal) we were appalled by the horrific cigarette smoke coming from the restaurant/lounge until well past midnight! One would have thought by this point in the 21st century that ALL hotels would be listed as non-smoking. This obviously wasn't the case for the Clarion. Will likely try to locate a different hotel for the next trip unless they notify us that they've become a non-smoking facility.
Great Location to Colonial Wmsbg
La Quinta by Wyndham Williamsburg Historic AreaRecently visited the Colonial Williamsburg area. Positives: the place allows dogs and they accommodated our need to be on the first floor. Plus, only a two minute drive to the Colonial Williamsburg area. Negatives: staff came across as uncaring and needed constant reminders to leave towels, etc. outside our door. On one evening had to train the person on duty that she could assist us by taking towels, etc. from an unoccupied room (she kept insisting that she had given out the last towel earlier in the evening and that we’d have to wait until morning to secure anything laundry related). So . . . If you need a place which will accommodate “Fido”, La Quinta will meet that need but adjust all other expectations accordingly.
