Exceptional Customer Service and Tour!!
Nonpartisan PedicabThis was better than I could have hoped for. This tour company was a last minute find for myself and my son. While I was visiting my son in DC, I really wanted to make the most of my last half day with him. Robert's customer service was exceptional. He took the time to explain everything and organize our tour to maximize the time we had available and to stay within our budget. Our tour guide, Fahad, was so incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. He has such a thorough understanding of the city, how it was designed and he offered truly interesting facts about every memorial, building and monument we visited. He was so nice to our little dog, Paco, and he had such great rapport with my 19 year old son. So much so that I learned a thing, MY SON IS A HISTORY BUFF! I had no idea. In spending just two hours with Fahad, I saw a passion for American history in my son that I didn't know existed. Thank you for that, Fahad. We can't wait to visit again!

Puppy Friendly DC Visit
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Washington DC/DowntownThis hotel was an extremely pleasant surprise. When booking, I must not have been paying attention and didn't realize it is located in Chinatown. It was extremely easy to book. The pet policy was on par with what I've been met with at other hotels. What was the most pleasing was the decor and cleanliness of the rooms. Unlike other hotels, they don't restrict the dogs to certain (the worst) rooms. They are welcome in any room you choose. I thought the room that we stayed in was beautifully appointed and REALLY appreciated that there was no rug! My little guy is very well trained but I had the piece of mind that if there were any accidents, it would be super easy to clean up. The next time I visit DC, I will definitely be staying at this charming hotel.

The most exceptional service.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Valley ForgeWe did not book this hotel initially. We "ended up" here after a horrible experience at another hotel. I cannot tell you how happy I am that we did. This hotel is exceptional. Firstly, the concierge, Morco, was super accommodating and efficient at getting us settled in as quickly as possible. They gave us a lovely room on the 4th floor (room 411) that has a separate sitting area which was so extremely cozy for us and our pup. The room was located at the end of a long hall, far from the elevators, which was great because there was no foot traffic to set off barking from our Chi-mix. They gave us a bag with complimentary water bottles and dog treats when we checked in too!! The hotel itself is beautiful, with a beautiful lounge area and bar located in the very center of the building that can be viewed from all floors. Very cool. I made the mistake of forgetting my favorite shoes in the closet and everyone was so diligent about making sure I'd get them back. The only problem with this visit is that it was only one night. I want to go back and spend a whole week there! These people know how to get it done. Paco and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You saved our Mother's Day weekend.

(Doggy) Mother's Day was great!!
Four Dogs TavernWe showed up just after opening and despite everyone having the same idea and long lines with completely booked up reservations for Mother's Day, we had a super short wait. They seated us at a great little table for 2+1pup. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Our waitress was so friendly and was so sweet to our Paco. I really hope we get to visit this place again. I'd love to see it at night. The curly willow tree and fountain was a perfect backdrop for a lovely afternoon on Mother's Day, which happened to be an impromptu trip. Great job done by all.

Fantastic place
World of BeerLOVE this place. The outside seating area was so cozy for us and our pup on a cold dreary day. The overhead heaters were great. The waitress, Bri, was a delight. She brought over a water bowl without us even asking and when she brought our Paco some grilled chicken, she made sure it was cut up for us. Very cool atmosphere. Great customer service. Great food. I really hope we get to visit here again. Thank you!!

Awful experience
Sheraton Great Valley HotelI was shocked with the quality of the rooms we were offered. I've NEVER complained about a room before but this was incredible. We originally booked a $189 suite but when we learned the Lounge Access (included with the room) wouldn't be available, we downgraded to a regular king room. When we arrived, we were told we'd be on the first floor, even though we requested a higher floor, but no big deal, they explained dogs are not allowed above floor 2, again, no big deal. The room we were first given was completely unacceptable, chipping paint throughout and smelled like cigarettes. We were then given a "king suite" on the second floor and that was worst than the first. MULTIPLE stains all over the carpets and chipping paint and dirt around the AC units. The couch was so dirty that we put towels down before we'd sit on them. I called the concierge to inform of my displeasure, fully understanding they wouldn't be able to switch us, not that it mattered because at this point I was convinced any room they gave would be just as bad. After the manager and the head of housekeeping came to see what the complaints were, they decided we had "reached an impasse", apologized for the dirtiness of the rooms, and found us a room at another hotel, the Embassy Suites Valley Forge. Go there people. I will be writing a glowing review for them. I have to say, the customer service was fine, everyone was very nice and the grounds were very nice as well. We were looking forward to visiting the patio areas with out little pup and having dinner and drinks on their Tavern's outside patio. It's a shame the rooms were so dinghy and simply a rip off. I told them it's not right to charge people to stay in those rooms. My theory, they don't allow dogs in the higher floors with the nicer rooms because the rooms on the first two floors are the low budget rooms that they aren't worried about being potentially damaged by dogs. Sad that my first review on here is so bad but I will be writing 3 more glowing reviews for the other establishments that took care of us and our little dog like royalty.
