Great stay, friendly staff
ARRIVE Palm SpringsGreat stay. Let dogs in pool area but major issue of no grass area on site or close by. An area with fake grass or real would have really helped and the fifth bone.

No designated area for dogs
Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort an IHG HotelIf a hotel promotes itself as “dog friendly,” they should have a designated area for a dog to potty. Upon arriving to the hotel, we were greeted by the sound of a jack hammer just outside of the door. The sound reverberated through the open door, up to the reservation desk and into the restaurant making it difficult to hear each other and to relax. We asked if they had a designated potty area for the dog and were directed to the sidewalk. Our dog has a difficult time pottying without grass much less on concrete. We found ourselves pacing the neighborhood trying to find a place for him to pee at 2:30 in the morning.
Between the lack of a designated potty area and the inability to enjoy the lobby because of the noise, we do not recommend this hotel.
