Great place to stay
Avon Old Farms HotelThe room didn’t say ‘this is for dogs’. It was a well furnished, with a carpet, and comfortable bed. You can pick up dinner from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet included a variety of choices and was excellent. They have park-like grounds. Would stay there again.

Will stay there again
Benton Park InnDan and his dog Rosie were very welcoming and good company. It was great for me and my 2 dogs to have the first floor of this lovely house and not just a bedroom to relax in. It’s really a B&B and Dan makes a good breakfast. The house is across the street from a beautiful park and there’s private parking behind the house.

Will be back again!
The Lincklaen HouseSecond stay here. This lovely old hotel is a mix of old and new. They welcomed the dogs. We had a 2-room suite that gave the dogs space to play. They have a good restaurant and room service is excellent. Breakfast is adequate. Parking is easy in back. Most important is the feeling that you’re staying with a friend who has a very large house.

Don’t go
Motel 6 Indianapolis IN - SouthportAlmost didn’t stay after strong smell of urine outside door of the room. Response to my mentioning this was not good. Went for a walk when we returned they had treated the smell. The room was clean, if most basic, and the bed was good. For the price, the room was fine but their response to the urine smell was very bad. Would not stay at any Motel 6 again.

Good Night’s Sleep
Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre Center CityWhen you walk into this hotel you go back in time. It has been refurbished without updating the style. But don’t be fooled, the important things, TV, charging mobile devices are up to date. Clean & comfortable room and a great breakfast. Only 4 bones because the heating/AC unit was noisy. We turned it off to sleep. There’s a dog park about a 10 min drive away.

Best hotel on our trip
Hilton Akron/FairlawnFirst, the room was not a ‘dog room’. Just a regular high quality Hilton room. Comfortable, updated, with a quiet heating/AC system. Dogs were welcomed. Only thing to keep in mind is that their restaurant is closed on Sunday.

Not so good
Candlewood Suites Indianapolis an IHG HotelWould not stay here again for 1 night. The kitchenette would be good if you were staying a while and wanted to cook. Room was clean, bed comfortable. But large fridge made noise all night, air fan could not be turned off. Not worth the price.

Great Location & Nearby Dog Park
Baymont by Wyndham RollaThe hotel is easy on easy off the highway. Room was clean and comfortable, nice king size bed great pillows. Breakfast has good choices. Room was away from the highway, facing a small lake. Would stay there again. There’s very nice city dog park with three separate enclosures nearby.

Excellent hotel for pups & people
Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland DowntownHappy to see the hotel after a long snowy, drive. We used the valet parking. Very welcoming to the dogs. Room was spacious with a small fridge & microwave. It was very cold so we appreciated the long, wide hallway on the first floor for 2- and 4-legged walkers to get some exercise. Breakfast was extensive, if you can think of it, they have it. Recommend the scrambled eggs.

Good hotel for dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Terre HauteThis is the third hotel in a row where we’ve stayed. I mention this because basic quality is related to price so can’t compare. The room was clean & comfortable. The dogs chased a ball in the hallway before there were many guests and nobody seemed to mind. The dogs were welcome.

Great for Dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield Airport PlazaThey welcomed the dogs and gave them a treat. The room was spacious and clean. The apartment complex across the street has a large dog park.

Great location
Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor LodgeThe room was fine. In a building for dogs and their owners. So, an occasional bark was expected. The best thing was the location. Using All trails we found a beautiful dog-friendly trail 7 min away. Only problem for us was that the free breakfast was coffee and carbs.
