Great motel
Best Western Plus Albert Lea I-90/I-35 HotelVery dog friendly. Clean room, nice grassy area, excellent hot breakfast.

Ok for one night
Quality Inn & Suites Montgomery East Carmichael RdRoom was clean. Good breakfast. Dog walking area was less than desirable. Lots of litter and apparently quite a few dog owners did not pick up after their pets.

Good motel
Super 8 by Wyndham Iowa City/CoralvilleRoom was clean and up to date. Excellent grassy area next to building and beautiful walking trail is a short walk from motel. Only downside is there is no longer a breakfast option.

Not recommended
Clarion Pointe KimballVery run down motel. A/C did not lower the humidity in room. No good place to walk dog. Grab ‘n go breakfast consisted of weak coffee.

Great location
La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield ILExcellent motel for price. Well lit parking lot for nighttime dog walk. Lots of grass close to exit at end of first floor hall.
