Beautiful serene spot
The Village Inn HarrisonburgWhat a beautiful spot. Each room has its own little deck.
Great location
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestClean, inviting room. As a woman traveling solo with my dog, I felt totally comfortable.
Tired hotel with cigarette smell everywhere
Best Western Thunderbird MotelThis hotel was the most dismal of all my nights traveling cross country with my dog. They switched my room when I told them it smelled like smoke, but even the next room smelled too. Lots of construction workers stay here while working in the area. It was the only hotel that gave me a creepy feeling. Dog area is disgusting and the only other option was along the busy road where there were a few feet of grass. I would not stay here again
Comfortable and away from the highway
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Little Rock-West an IHG HotelClean and comfortable. Very few food options available unless you use Uber eats. Bed was comfy.
Very affordable and charming
Basecamp at SnowbowlThis was a charming place and perfect for one night. The beds were comfy but I was in room #1- the closest to a busy road so I heard cars zoom past until 11pm. While there was a fan in the room, the window had been closed and it was 98 degrees that day. Needless to say, the room felt like a sauna when I entered. If you go to this place, ask for the cabins in the 20’s. They are tucked away in the back and are much more charming then the rooms next to the road.
Comfortable and clean
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Barstow an IHG HotelWhile the hotel was comfy and clean, there’s nothing but gravel to take the dog for a walk. Chilis across the lot so easy to grab dinner to go. Being so close to the highway also meant I heard cars and trucks all night long.
