Worth the stop
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake Charles - WestlakeA recently remodeled La Quinta. EZ off/on I-10 access. Plenty of nearby restaurants. My room was spectacular with quick access to outdoors. The only issue was the proximity to the doorway to the stairs and the exterior door made it a noisy night. If you go do not agree to stay in Room 102. The front desk clerk even called me after check-in to ensure I was comfortable. Who does that any longer? I didn’t know about the door issue then.

Great location
Holiday Inn Express Breaux Bridge an IHG HotelCareful on locating the drive entrance. If you miss it, you have to go back 5 exits! Clean, friendly, good breakfast. Respectable Cajun Restaurant in walking distance. Gas station at the exit. Desk clerk alerted to stay on the posted speed limits over the lengthy bayou bridge! I did spy police waiting for speeders!

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott BeloitAt $20 per dog I found that to be ridiculous and I ended up paying WAY more than expected. Too bad you can’t include this detail in listings.

Great Location
La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield ILComfy beds. Good restaurants nearby. Made sure I had quick outside access for my dog and away from other guests.
