Red Roof Inn Rockford East Casino DistrictNice to stay in a pet friendly place with rooms that directly access the outside. Nice pet friendly area in a busy neighborhood. Hotel is older but clean. Very nice staff.

Dog friendly
Quality Inn & SuitesThe front desk staff were very accommodating & willing to make our stay most comfortable upon check in. TV reception iffy. Nice pet friendly room at end of hall next to exit. Nice when you have pets.

Cottages
General Butler State Resort ParkUpon arrival the lodge where we had a reservation had experienced severe water damage. They put us in a cottage next to campground which was delightful. They apologized for needing to move a which was no sacrifice at all. Our standard poodle loved having lots of room to run, walk, explore. The cottage was very sweet. We went to come back in the summer. A great place for hiking, taking it easy, enjoying the out of doors.
