Convenient Location!

This hotel is in a great location. Mom and I spent a day on Emerald Isle and another day visiting Morehead City and Beaufort. Our trip was for Sept 10 - 12. Check-in/out was easy, and the staff was so pleasant. I wasn't even charged the two night pet fee, and asked to make sure. BONUS!!!!
There are PLENTY of well kept grassy areas, perfect for anyone traveling with furbabies of any size.
The room I booked was clean and very spacious, and the continental breakfast had decent hot and cold options.

A few cons - Since BF only had two old reviews, I read a few from the hotel website prior to booking. Someone named Richard, dated January 29, 2020. He mentioned the waffle machine not working. Not sure if that was replaced by the pancake machine, but it wasn't working either. You didn't have to swipe the room card to access the hotel from the side and back of the building. Slight safety concern there. It took a little while for the water to heat up, something I saw someone post as well. The toilet didn't automatically stop running, but I figured that one out; just gently tapped the handle after a few seconds, also mentioned in someone's post (I must have had that person's room...LOL) Overall, I would stay here again. Before I go, I want to thank the agent who assisted me with my reservation. We ran into a snag. The original room disappeared as we were finalizing the trip, but we worked it out. I wish I could remember her name.
