Bad
Motel 6 Santa Rosa NMWe’ve stayed at several Motel 6 locations in the last year and expect bare bones but have been pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated they were… until this one. This Motel 6 is one of the old ones that hasn’t been updated and carries on the bad rep. Flooring was cracked, showers were corner stalls with no room and the flooring was stripped, mattresses were flat/hard/old and uncomfortable, bathroom plumbing leaked and smelled bad, lots of road noise from the highway, and the parking lot is an absolute nightmare if you have a trailer or anything bigger than a minivan.

Basic but clean
Motel 6 Winslow AZCheck in staff was very nice. Room was bare bones, clean and good sized, no carpeting which I like with pets, bathroom super small, ac unit woke me up a lot with the rattle noise it makes when it cycles and the remote for the tv was difficult to deal with. Overall tho a good crash for a night with pets.

Decent
Longhorn Casino & HotelHotel is in a shady part of town but they have visible security rounding both inside and the parking lot so I felt better about that. Check in manager was very nice. Pet rooms are in the same area and the room had tile flooring but the hallway was carpeted and smelled of dog pee. Our second room was non-pet and carpeted but the carpet was sticky. 👀 Good food from the restaurant and beers were cheap, we would do it again.
