Big portions and so dog friendly!
FoodworksThere were lots of dog friends when we went! Loved that the seating was under cover so we were in the shade, although the sun crept down into our eyes during the meal. I ordered lasagna and the plate was as big as my head! Everyone enjoyed their meal and they provided some ice water for our pup!
First time at Ruth’s Chris!
Ruth's Chris Steak HouseI didn’t expect my first time at Ruth’s Chris to include my dog, but it happened! I have been wanting a good steak for a while, so while on vacation I was looking for a dog friendly option. This location is attached to a hotel and they have an outside patio area. While it’s designed more for appetizers and drinks, we sat at a high top table and were quickly greeted by our amazing server, Olivia! She loved all over our pup and even other folks from inside came to say hi to him. Our steaks and sides were cooked to perfection! It was exactly the “fancy” steak dinner I wanted - just outside with our dog!!!!
So dog friendly!
BrewhausWe sat at a picnic table under the shaded patio one evening after it had rained. While the wood was still a little damp, we sat on some plastic bags we had in our dogs bag. Our server came right out with a bowl of ice water for our dog. When we arrived there was another couple with their dog. By the time we left, 2-3 more tables filled with guests with their pups! We ordered the pretzel (SO GOOD), schnitzel (enjoyed it very much), and ended with a dessert. Had a great time and will go back if we are in the area again!
Family owned and fun!
Lakeshore GrilleWe enjoyed dinner one weeknight with our dog. We had to park in a gravel lot across the street, but it was a very short walk. We got a table with a nice view and enjoyed our various plates - there were so many dinner options! They brought a little bowl of ice water right over and loved on our dog. While we ate, a few more guests arrived with their dogs! I enjoyed cheesecake for dessert and think this would be a regular haunt if we lived in the area. I enjoyed the atmosphere, music selection, view, and the food!
Great place for extended stay!
Home2 Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton PlaceWe were in town for a week, and this was a great spot for us and our dog! It is near all sorts of stores and restaurants, and we made use of the in-suite kitchenette. Our pup got a baggie of treats and a toy the first morning from the hotel! There are a couple of marked pet relief areas. Our room was pretty clean and I worked remote from our room all week. Our AC worked great, there was a huge TV, and we’d definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Loved Walking with our Pup
Gettysburg National Military ParkA caravan-style tour of the site was perfect because our dog rode alone with us. The only place he wasn’t allowed was the visitors center (no buildings) and the National Cemetery. But there was so much to walk and see, including Little Round Top!
Delicious Food and Welcoming to our Pup
O'Rorke's Eatery & SpiritsFirst, the food here was amazing! I recommend the Beef Stew :). I let the hostess know we had our goldendoodle and she got us a table outside. They even filled up a water bowl for our pup. He was well-behaved and made friends at nearby tables.
Great Place with your Pup!
Battlefield Bed & Breakfast InnJust before we arrived they added a new fenced in dog park area for them to run off-leash, and our dog loved meeting other dogs there. We stayed in the Swan Cottage and the staff were super pet friendly, and our goldendoodle got tons of pets from staff and guests alike. They had an extra towel and blanket and treats in our room when we arrived. Great B&B and excellent with dogs!
