Lovely spot
Silver Dart LodgeThe "chalet" was comfortable and spacious. Little Nella loved being able to run around on the grassy grounds, but beware of some unexpected soggy spots. We sat out on the deck and shared a nice meal. Wished that we could have stayed another day. So much nicer than the other pet-friendly accommodations that we have tried on this trip.

Tide & Boar BrewingLovely experience, so accommodating for the (many) dogs on their patio. Upscale, well-prepared food, good service. Our little Nella got a big water bowl before we even saw the wine list!

Rustic but extremely friendly to dogs
Hotel-Motel Le Boise du lacEveryone, proprietors and clients, were very welcoming. The small lake and paddle boats were perfect for our good swimmer. Little Nella (mini Labradoodle) loved sitting on the porch.

CHECKEDSo disappointed
Pickles Bar & GrillWe called ahead and received specific instructions which we followed. Once there we confirmed with a bus person that we should sit anywhere outside that we wanted. We enjoyed the water and the luscious aromas, but after a half hour of waiting, I figured that we were doing something wrong. I inquired inside and was told that the kitchen had closed 4 minutes ago. I explained that we had done exactly as instructed, but she insisted that there was nothing she could do. When I asked politely if I could speak with the boss, she said that there wasn't one...he was not there. I honestly don't know if it was because of our well-behaved 18-lb pooch, or if it was us. We are two senior gay guys, and our bumper stickers did not match the others in the parking lot. Whatever the reason, best not risk this place.
