Customer Service Was Good. The Room Was Not

We booked a stay here as it was our only option that I thought would be the cleaner of the other available places. The customer service was pleasant and helpful. that is the only reason this Best Western is getting any stars. The room was not cleaned other then the linens. The floor was damp and grimy and bathroom tub and sink hadn’t been scrubbed in some time. There were hand prints on the headboard and some questionable stains on the walls. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This is the first time I’ve had bad luck with a Best Western and am regretting booking here on a whim.

Clean and quiet

Conveniently located off the highway, clean and quiet rooms. Enough areas to walk to so that you and Fido can get your steps in. Plenty of nearby amenities to chose from to replenish, refresh, and recoup.

Ok for one night

We stayed here while on a road trip back in August and need a place last minute as we needed to stop somewhere due to severe storms in the area. While BringFido’s customer service has been nothing but excellent, the same could not be said about the personnel at the hotel desk that evening. As I was checking in, she was tending to a personal phone call. After acknowledging my presence, her curt manner of speaking made me feel uncomfortable and all I wanted to do was just get into my room with my dog to decompress after a very stressful drive.

Once in our room, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, the curtains were broken and hanging off to one side, the bed was made it did seem like the bedding was fresh, my dog found all kinds of debris under the bed, there were dirty dishes in the cupboard, and the sink was clogged. As I made the dreaded phone call to address the issues, I felt like I was interrupting the desk personnel and just mentioned that the sink was clogged. She mentioned that no one could attend to it until the next day so I just left it at that and just make do with it until I checked out in the morning.

Perfect cross country pit stop

This Best Western is the perfect halfway point stop for us. I’ve stayed at this BW multiple times and as it’s conveniently located near a variety of services and the highway. We always have felt welcome here and my dogs have plenty of areas to walk to stretch their legs and do their business at and around the property. Staff have all been wonderful at answering my questions and addressing any of my concerns and needs. Keep up the good work!

Probably one of the nicer La Quintas

I travel A LOT with my dogs. This La Quinta is conveniently located near a lot of services and most importantly the highway. Plenty on walkable areas with grass to get a good walk in with your dog away from the property. Staff were kind and cordial, room was clean and comfortable. All in all, this was probably one of the nicer La Quintas I have stayed at. Well done La Quinta DTC!

Big Dog Friendly

It’s not easy finding many places that are big dog friendly last minute while on a cross country road trip. This Travelodge has got to be one of our favorite BringFido finds. My dog was a welcomed guest and received a wonderful doggie goodie bag upon checked in. They even accommodated a request for a quieter room away from the busy entryway as my dog is not always tolerant of passerby’s and other dogs.

The only minor complaint is that the place is a bit dated. The room was in need of a thorough cleaning, heater and refrigerator were loud every time they cycled on which took some time for us to get used to. Other than that, we felt comfortable staying here.

It is a little bit of a ways off of I-80 but it was near plenty of amenities (food, shopping, gas) that it was worth the slight deviation.
