Very Mixed Bag
Holiday Inn Express Knoxville-Strawberry Plains an IHG HotelExtremely nice morning and evening desk/breakfast staff. The room and bathroom were clearly in need of repair and obvious removal of dirt on walls and floor. The sheets were laundered but still had previous dog hair and fibers evident. The mini fridge was making a lot of noise because it needed defrosting. The grout needed replacement and cleaning. Tub didn’t have working drain and the bathroom fan had dirt hanging from it. The tv worked well and the mattress was okay. Charging outlets didn’t work or were damaged except for one in a new lamp. Morning coffee was good: hot and not watery.

Okay stay
The Remington Suite Hotel and SpaNice people and an attractive room that needed the bathroom updated or at least the remodeling finished. A lot of the hotel seems to be getting an uplift. Attractive lobby. There was a couple fighting, screaming and running in the hallway at for almost two hours in the middle of the night. They seem to be understaffed and the desk manager said he tried to stop it. We did not get the sleep we hoped for. You can hear noise in the hallways and from nearby rooms. I wanted to see the rooftop garden, but didn’t get a chance to see if it was open.

Carnegie Hotel & SpaSuch a nice room, hotel, and staff. I wish we could have stayed more than one night.
