Standard hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham TucumcariGlad to have this available as we travelled across the country. The pros: good water pressure, hot water, clean room, easy check-in, room darkening shades. The cons: no greenery or anywhere to walk the dog (or ourselves) in the vicinity, small rock area close by (part of the Holiday Inn chain) was covered in dog poop, which is fun to navigate at night, older rooms with older furnishings. This is a very basic lodging choice with absolutely no frills.
Nice hotel
DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix MesaOn our long trek to California and back, this was by far one of the nicest places we stayed with our standard poodle. Nice room, comfortable bed, food available in the bar area, and plenty of grassy areas for our dog walk. Definitely would stay here again.
Nice staff
Majestic Mountain InnStaff was very nice, at check-in and at breakfast. Very dog friendly place on our cross-country trip; one of the few that truly had green space for our dog to feel comfortable walking about. The Inn is a motel and rooms are quite dated. Still, it served our needs very well and we're grateful to BringFido!
