Good for just passing through....

The good stuff: your dog can stay with you, and there aren't a lot of choices in Palm Desert; they have a made-to-order breakfast included which is pretty good; the price for the area is low; and the staff is super friendly; the hotel is clean and the housekeeping staff is on the top of their game. The meh stuff: the hotel is pretty dated, and this includes the TV (had a red haze on picture), the refrigerator which gurgles all night, and the a/c that we couldn't dial in and at times got no response when we pushed buttons to turn off. We walked into a temp of 76, set it for 69, and woke up to 58 - and then couldn't get it to turn off let alone set it back to 69-70. All that said, for one night, just passing through, it gave us a clean place to sleep. I don't recommend a multi-night stay.
