Sugar is a 9+ year old “Whipador.” Lab and Whippet mix.

The property and staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean and Sugar was at home there. This is a heavy use hotel, and it’s comparable to heavy use hotels. There isn’t much available in this price range in this area, so we were grateful to find it. The only thing that became an issue was a lack of a grassy area. We found out this was a widespread issue due to drought in East Colorado. Sugar sniffed out the last living weed in the vacant field next door, and that was her go-to place. (Just beware of broken glass in that field. Take a flashlight.)

Plenty of green grass for Sugar. The check-in was easy and It was fun to hold a room key in my hands, like when I was young. The room was dated and needed some light bulbs, but I could open windows and hear the birds singing. Also, the bed was firm and more comfortable for me than other hotels at twice the price on this trip. It was clean, and the shower had great pressure. Just let the water run for a while and it will get hot. Mind you, I like places that are reminiscent of my youth, so this was fun for me, because this is how it was. Also, it was nice to sit on the bench outside the room door, and watch evening fall. I do believe there are long-term guests here, and they were friendly conversationalists. While packing up the following morning, I saw two red-tail hawks, and heard a bluejay. If you’re like me, and you look for the simple pleasures and uncommon pleasant surprises, you will find something here. Thank you Hawkeye!

The staff was outstanding. On check-in, the sweet lady at the front desk was very kind, and she absolutely loves dogs. Our room, #218, was very clean, and although it has seen use, it was fresh, clean, and a welcome treat after a full day on the road. 5 bones for sure. There are HUGE areas to walk your furry soul-mate, and waste bags ate provided. Sugar loved the ground squirrels in the huge field next door. She was just thrilled. Tgank you Sleep-Inn! Much appreciation!

I laughed pretty hard when I went to take a shower in room 106 and the plastic tub spout shot right off the 1/2” PVC line into the tub. I’ve never had that happen before in my entire life, and it was hilarious. It probably would have freaked a normal person out, but I’ve done plumbing work, along with a lot of other construction in my life. So if you get room 106, and this happens, just turn the water off, line up the inside of the spout with the service line, and gently press the spout onto the line while slowly twisting the spout onto the stub-out. It will hold for a few showers, but it needs to be re-glued. Upon checkout, I went to the desk to tell someone, but the desk was unattended. Thank you for giving me a hearty laugh! I always love a surprise. Our dog really liked the warm, welcoming room. Mt. Pleasant is a friendly place!

Staff was excellent. Very friendly, and treated Sugar like family. The actual room turned out to be a first floor suite, close to an entry. There is a LOT of room for walking dogs and it is very nicely lit.Thank you Drury Inn!

The building is in need of some updating, however, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very kind and welcoming. Our room needed some maintenance attention, but it was nice to have a clean, room instead of a rest-stop snooze. Tyler, the front desk guy, was really great when we arrived. We grabbed some coffee in the morning and took off because we had a good distance to travel, so didn't stay for breakfast.

Everything was great from the arrival to the time we left. This was undeniably the cleanest hotel we stayed in on this trip. For some unknown reason, when I checked in and paid I got recorded as a "cancelled reservation." The lady at the front desk said "you're here, you paid, and we are glad you came." They were super nice to our 50 pound Sugar, and everything went very well. As a veteran, I was very excited to see an American Flag standing in the lobby. You just don't see that anymore.
Staying here is like staying with loved ones. They were so kind and caring. I wasn't invited to leave a review by BringFido, probably because of the false cancellation, so I tried to leave one by suggesting the hotel, and I also just found this tab so I hope this works. (I am old and not computer savvy, but I want folks to know how excellent this stay was.) The room was outstanding. Super comfortable, quiet, and clean. We will go out of our way to stay here again. Just loved it because the staff is very guest oriented. We loved it here.

This was a great hotel. Kryste welcomed us and was very kind to Sugar. The room was clean, fresh, and very nice. We even commented this was one of the most restful and quietest rooms we have ever stayed in. The following morning, breakfast and coffee were a good sendoff to our overnight stay. The Cobblestone is a very good memory and we would definitely like to stay here again.

Our room was on the second floor, and it was very nice, clean, and everything worked as it should. The staff was nice and welcomed us and Sugar, our medium sized (50 lb) lab mix.

This is an excellent hotel. It is very clean and welcoming. They truly are dog lovers here. Our Sugar is a rescue and a bit shy around new-to-her people, but Ellie and Heather were really great with her at check-in and checkout. They definitely spoiled her with treats too. The housekeeping staff (on the second floor where we stayed) really cares because the room was exceptionally clean. Kudos to the maintenance staff as well. No slow sinks here. Everything worked as it should. There is plenty of green space outside to walk and allow the dog to “go.” A pet waste station is located in the parking lot, which was convenient. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will be returning when we can. As you know, the success of any organization always boils down to the people involved. The Gundersen has a great team, and it really shows! Thank you so very, very much!

We stayed in a King room with a pull-out sofa-bed, and were surprised at how much floor space there was. We even rolled Sugar’s favorite ball across the floor for her. This room was thoughtfully set up for dog owners with vinyl “wood look” flooring for easy housekeeping dog hair clean-up. I’m starting to see where certain hotel brands are really doing their best to accommodate us and still have facilities that work for the cleaning crew. That’s really symbiotic, and proof someone in management is going the extra mile to make travel with our dogs a success for everyone. Bravo!
Our stay here was exceptional. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. There are a LOT of areas to walk your dog here. I took Sugar on an hour-and-a-half stroll down the road to the dead end, where it meets a very nice paved pedestrian way. Don’t use the field on the other side of the parking lot. It has a lot of ticks in the bushes around a small ground transformer there.

The staff here is very congenial. It looked as though the building was at full capacity, yet our stay was quiet and restful. The housekeeping crew seemed to be cheerful each time we saw them. They did an excellent job (our room was nice and clean). It was nice to be in the building. The overflow parking area behind the Shell Gas station could use better lighting so I was with my wife and dog whenever we went in or out there. The good outweighed the few things that I won’t even mention, that we noticed might be a problem for some. We were ALWAYS treated with kindness and respect. Sugar was a very happy dog here, even though the pet walk area is small. There are nice places a few minutes drive if you need a larger area for a walk. It was not an issue for us, but the pool structure is under construction, and there is no pool. We will stay here the next time we come through Bismarck. Special thanks to the breakfast hostess for a job well done!

This was a great hotel. We were treated very well from check-in, to check-out. Sugar is a very nice, quiet, well trained and behaved dog. When we were placed in a room right next to the lower level exit, at the end of the wing, we thought the staff was probably expecting the worst. But it was very convenient for us and close to the dog walk area. We always bring our own poop bags, but they actually supplied high quality bags and a receptacle nearby. Just be aware there are ground squirrels all over that area so if your dog is a hunter, it may take a few minutes to get the thought of “going” to bear. The room was clean and serviceable, and very nice! The breakfast was a nice benefit to us and we took turns going in for breakfast. Special thanks to Berenice from housekeeping for such a clean room! Take the tip and get yourself something special girl! You rock‼️

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. How it works here: Book and pay for room in advance. The dog fee of $20 per night is charged when you arrive. Super friendly and welcoming toward our 50 pound dog. Room was dated but clean. All the fixtures, though old, worked just fine. Buttons on the A/C unit are worn so you can't really tell which one turns it on-be patient, you'll find it. Towels are scratchy! We stayed two nights. Rooms have the old opening windows, which is nice. We miss those in newer hotels.
Our nights were quiet even though we were next to an entry hallway and vending machines. There is ample greenspace to walk the dog here. Could use an outside trash can but it wasn't a long walk to the dumpster to toss the poop bag. People who stayed here before us did not pick up after their dogs. I picked up extra. Come on people, allowing dogs is a courtesy service. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.
