Basic and just right
Red Roof Inn Defuniak SpringsThe location was quiet, the room was good sized, the floors were not carpeted, there were grassy areas nearby. So it checked all our boxes. One caveat: this hotel offers only coffee, but there is a convenient McDonalds nearby!

Decent and near a dog park!
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham NeedlesThe room was basic but comfortable enough. The staff was friendly. AND there was a large, fenced dog park right across the road!

Great hotel!
La Quinta by Wyndham Paso RoblesBeautiful building and grounds, helpful staff, easy access to downtown Paso Robles and surrounding areas. We asked for a room off the highway and we were looking out on fields and grapevines in a very nice, well appointed room. Best of all, our dog loved it!
