Not bad for downtown

We were driving from the VA to OK and this was our second overnight stop. Check-in was fairly easy, but you could only valet park. I'm not sure what was going on that night, but it was chaotic. The room was fine with a little room to play and there is green space right in front of the hotel for taking care of business. If you are heading west on 40, we highly recommend making a stop at Shelby Farms Park before entering Memphis. They have a huge off leash dog area and our pup got to run and play with other pups, which was great after being on the road for a long while and before getting into the city. We also found a little spot for dinner named Westy's that was a quick walk from the hotel and we could eat outside with our pup. My husband said the ribs were good and I really enjoyed my gluten free wild rice bowl. Dog friendly AND gluten free are hard to find!
