I'm a semi-retired Forester living in the north woods of California with my wife and 2 dogs: Buster, a 5-year old 102 pound black Lab X Chesapeake Bay retriever and Lulu, a 6-year old mutt who may be the best ball catcher on the planet.

Nice room, modern furnishings, clean
Baymont by Wyndham TehachapiAttention to detail. The nightstands were large and had outlets and USB chargers incorporated. Really good for the money.

Good for the money
Motel 6 Dixon CARoom was clean, fairly roomy. We've been staying at more Motel 6's lately because of their liberal pet policy. There's a lot of difference in terms of cleanliness, shabbiness, etc. among locations. This is one of the good ones.

Acceptable
Motel 6 Fremont CA - SouthThis place was adequate. Not nearly as nice as the Motel 6 near east beach in Santa Barbara, but not bad.
