Been here several times in the past, this time was just bad

La Quinta by Wyndham Charlotte Airport South

I've stayed here 3-4 times before, sometimes with my dog and sometimes without. This time was without. All previous stays were completely lovely. This time, the elevators and floor reeked of pot all weekend. The toilet in the room wouldn't flush completely (not clogged, just would leave behind toilet paper). Breakfast did not include cereal or milk like it had in the past. One kind of yogurt. Coffee was empty. Bagels had visible mold on them. I stayed two nights, and housekeeping did not come by during, which meant the second day's shower was with a wet towel off the floor. Maybe more concerning was my key card stopped working when I returned the second night. I went to the front desk, and was just asked for my room number, and I received a new card that did work. No verification of being allowed in that room. Could I have gotten in any room?
