Not a great location
Best Western Arcata InnOld motel undergoing renovations. Small grass area for pets, also used by smokers. Pretty much in the middle of a concrete jungle of motels/hotels.

Great location!
The Hotel SalemHotel works OK but having to always enter through the lobby with your dog is somewhat of a hassle especially in the pouring rain. You could exit thru other doors but no re-entry that way.
