Nice place
Sleep Inn & Suites CumberlandThe rooms were clean and comfortable. It was next to a big travel stop with gas and McDonalds. There was a fenced dog yard, there were EV charging stations, and there was a nice breakfast buffet in the morning included in the room cost.

Loved this place
Best Western Plus WeatherfordOf all the dog-friendly hotels we stayed at during our drive across the country with a U-Haul truck, this was our favorite. Great ambiance in the room, great breakfast the next morning included in the fare.

It was just a place to sleep
Motel 6 Grants NMIt’s not that anything was terribly wrong. It’s just that with a no-frills motel you hope that there’s something around that at least makes it convenient. Since we’re in a U-Haul truck with my car on an auto-transport, it’s nice if there’s SOMETHING within walking distance where we can grab some food before heading off, but there wasn’t here. And the pool was closed for the season. So, it was just a bed to sleep in for a few hours. For that I was grateful.

Was debating between 3 and 4 bones
Motel 6 Kingman AZ - Route 66 WestThe room was pretty basic. No microwave or fridge. But it was clean. The things that pushed it up to a 4 for me were 1) there’s a huge parking area that makes it easy for a U-Haul truck towing a car (like us) to park, and 2) there’s a full-service restaurant (Calico’s) basically in the parking lot of the motel so you can roll out of bed and be in a restaurant in seconds, or order takeout and take it back to your room. That was very convenient!

Best Motel 6 I've stayed at
Motel 6 Idaho FallsAfter staying at a horrible Motel 6 in Beaver, UT (where everything was broken), I was kind of wary about another one. But this one was much better. The rooms were clean and looked nice. We had a mini-fridge and microwave in the room, there were vending machines with snack food, the ice machine was working, and the woman at the front desk was really nice. Not to mention they don't charge a pet fee. If you're looking for budget accommodations, I'd recommend this place.
