Easy Location
Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Thornburg S Fredericksburg an IHG HotelNice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast. Adequate area for dog walking. Have stayed here before and will be back.

Nice Hotel
Comfort Inn EmporiaStaff was friendly and attentive. Our room was on the 1st floor which was nice and it smelled good! There was a rug on the floor which is not ideal for pets, but it was clean and so was the room. Bathroom was nice. Shower was OK. The mattress was hard as a rock. I like a hard mattress but this was really hard. Breakfast was the usual stuff, i.e., scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cereal, waffles, toast, yogurt, apples and oranges. Nice grassy area for the dog. Overall a pleasant stay after a long drive. Would stay here again.

Great Location
Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisonburg Near UniversityNice hotel. Had comfortable room on the first floor. Room was spacious and clean. No musty odors or pet smells. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was great. Staff very helpful and I always saw someone cleaning something when I went through the lobby. No back entrance but lots of parking and trolleys to assist with luggage. There were always 4 available every time I walked by. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Breakfast was the normal fare and area was kept immaculate. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel
Drury Inn & Suites Albuquerque NorthOur first time at a Drury hotel and it won't be the last. Great room, great breakfast. Would stay again.

Not Good
Clarion Pointe Sevierville-Pigeon ForgeWe had a 1st floor room right next to the back door. That's the good part. The room smelled moldy and the rug next to the bathroom was damp. The room was also smaller than most hotels. The dog walking area was littered with trash. This was the worst of the 15 hotels we stayed at during our cross country trip.

Best Western Yukon
Best Western Plus YukonThe location is very good and many stores and restaurants nearby. The room looked dated except for the bathroom which was updated. Mostly carpet throughout the room which was not the cleanest. Ottoman had a large stain. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds. Average but not terrible.

Nice New Hotel
Hyatt Place Amarillo WestThis Hyatt is new and what you'd expect from a great hotel. Nice large grassy area for the doggies and treats at the front desk. No rugs in the room which is very sanitary and a good thing because our dog had the squirts. Room and bathroom were very clean. Shower was great. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and caring staff. Location was close to lots of stores and restaurants. Only negative was that our room was on the 4th floor but elevator was big and there's an exit to the doggie area right next to the elevator. Several luggage carts were in the lobby. Would stay again.

Great Hotel
La Quinta by Wyndham FlagstaffAll La Quintas we've stayed at have been nice. This particular one was over the top clean. Room and bed was very comfortable and spacious. Love that the floors are not carpeted. Shower was really nice. There is a great area out back for walking the dog and there are poop bags that are actually stocked and a dedicated poop receptacle. 1st floor room made it easy to bring stuff from and to the car. Full breakfast was satisfying. They had an automatic pancake maker as well as the usual waffle iron, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels and toast. Coffee available all day.

Consistently Good
La Quinta by Wyndham Cedar CityThis is the 2nd La Quinta we've been to. Location was very convenient off the highway and there were many gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets close by. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The full breakfast was great. The staff really loves dogs and we felt very comfortable here. Would stay again. Great value as well.

Aquarius Inn
Aquarius InnThe room was better than we thought it would be. The bathroom was clean and looked like the tile had just been redone. The sink vanity was separate from the toilet and tub. Bed was comfortable. Towels were clean but old and no longer bright white. Room was very dimly lit. Internet was not good enough to do a Zoom call so we had to use our mobile hotspot. Most of the grounds around the hotel were sandy. There's not much going on in this area so while this was not the best hotel we stayed in, it fit our needs.

Good Location
La Quinta by Wyndham Grand Junction AirportThis hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a 1st floor room which made unpacking our stuff and walking the dog easy. They serve a full breakfast. There were many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Would stay here again.

Boutique Hotel
The Talbott HotelStopped here on a cross- country trip. Great hotel near dog park, beach and Navy Pier. Clean room, comfortable bed, awesome shower. Staff very helpful with all our bags which were hard to manage with the dog. Place to walk the dog right across the street and self- parking around the corner. Hotel staff very accommodating. Dogs first ride on an elevator was pretty funny to watch! All staff and guests were very nice to us and our dog. Would stay here again if I return to Chicago.

Farm Feel
Crest Country InnNice family owned hotel. Rooms conveniently located on 1st floor with parking right outside room. Acres of space to walk the dog. Gazebo and picnic tables outside. Our room faced the highway but the rooms in the back have views of acres of farm land. Each room is decorated in a different theme. Ours was fishing. Breakfast was OK.

Best Western Plus Lincoln Inn & SuitesRoom was very comfortable and shower was great. Very clean and there are grassy areas to walk the dog. Breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, etc. Staff was very pleasant.

Great Experience
Hampton Inn Youngstown NorthHampton Inn was great. Check-in was fast and the room was spotless and on the 1st floor. Parking was right outside so it was easy to unpack the car. There are green areas all along the parking lot and a nice breakfast in the morning. We felt welcome and I'm glad we chose this hotel rather than the Motel 6 because we were tired and really needed a nice room to get a good night's rest.
