Pet Friendly Caspar Headlands State Beach
Dogs are welcome at Caspar Headlands State Beach. The area is surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy the incredible views of the ocean and beach. You and Fido can wander on the beach and dip your toes in the water. Dogs can also join you to camp, but not along the State Park trails near the beach. The beach is open from 7:45am to 8:15pm.
Pet Friendly Noyo Beach
Off-leash pets are welcome to enjoy this gorgeous, rocky beach with you. To go to the Noyo Beach park, turn east on the north end of the Noyo Bridge (left coming south, right going north) on N. Harbor Drive and follow the road down the steep hill into the harbor, then under the bridge and to the beach. After visiting the beach, stop at Nemo's Fishmarket on N. Harbor Drive where you and your dog can sit on the deck and have lunch.
Pet Friendly Skunk Train
Dogs with a muzzle are allowed on the Skunk Train. Today, the Skunk Train runs from downtown Fort Bragg and from Willits, carrying tourists while it continues to serve the few hardy folks who live or vacation in the redwood forests it travels through. It passes through privately-owned land where few people can enroach, and wildlife sightings are common. The Skunk Train appeals to railroad buffs, history buffs, nature lovers and anyone else who would enjoy a ride through a beautiful forest. The pet fee is $10.
