South Side Neighborhood Community Park The new park features areas for dogs, children’s play equipment, bathrooms and a shaded picnic bench. The dog park portion of the park has two separate sections, one for smaller dogs under 25 lbs and a side for larger dogs. Both sides of the park are equipped with a drinking fountain for people and doggie drinking fountains as well as a bench located on each side. Unfortunately, neither side comes with a shade area for humans and the dogs seek refuge under the table for shade. During the hot summers it is almost unbearable to spend time at the park with little to no shade. More trees or a shade structure located inside the dog park would be nice See Details
