Home to the Brandywine Zoo and Baynard Stadium, this historic park has recently been restored and is a beautiful place to hang out with your pooch in the center of Wilmington. Described by locals as their very own Central Park, Fido can join you on the pathways and grassy areas adjacent to the Brandywine River. Claymont Community Center Dog Park An old baseball field has been recycled into a nice dog park! Two separated areas, one for smaller and one for bigger doggies. Well maintained grass and there are "waste stations" with free poop bags. Nothing fancy but it's all fenced in! You can park at the Community Center. Bring water on a hot day, there is no water fountain. It's not very big, it's a neighborhood dog park but it serves its purpose. See Details

Located approximately 10 minutes from Dover, DE, this 1.6-acre park adjacent to the town's post office is a popular place to take your pup. There are two separate fenced in areas that allow your dog to be off leash. One is for small dogs and older dogs and another for larger and more active dogs.
