South Mill Pond Dog Park

South Mill Pond has a fenced in, double gated enclosure, where dogs of all sizes can play together. There is a surrounding unfenced off-leash area that borders the west end of the pond as well. Dogs in park must be spayed or neutered. From the city center take Pleasant street and bear right at parking lot. Dog park is in center of park at South Mill Pond.

Pierce Island Off Leash Area

Fantastic off leash dog run with walking trails and several water access points with one main, rocky beach. Dogs must respond to voice command and be under control of owner at all times (this is not a fenced in dog park). Great views of the Portsmouth Navy Yard and a great place to watch boat traffic in the port.

Hudson Dog Park at Bensons Park

Hudson Dog Park is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining an off-leash dog park in Hudson, NH. Our goal is to create a safe place for owners and dogs to play and socialize and promote responsible dog ownership. Fundraising events are well underway. The dog park will be located in the fields of Benson Park, with the help of volunteers and donations... we anticipate the park will be open within the next year. 160 acres are now available for on-leash walks until the dog park is opened. Longhill Dog Park

The Longhill Dog Park is located at the Longhill Memorial Park off Longhill Road in Dover, New Hampshire. There is parking available at the park or in 10 overflow spaces in the adjacent Middleton Building Supply parking lot. There is no cost to use the dog park! In order to help fund future maintenance, when you renew your dog's license, there is a choice to make a designated contribution to the park. Rules 1. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. 2. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. 3. No dogs with communicable diseases. 4. No unusually aggressive dogs. 5. No choke chains, prong, spiked, or shock collars. 6. Never leave dogs unattended (out of sight or voice control). 7. Dogs must be leashed until they are in the entrance area. 8. Dog waste must be picked up and disposed of by owner/handler. 9. No more than 2 dogs per adult. 10. No glass or human food. 11. Absolutely no alcohol or drugs. 12. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. 13. Owner waives liability to the city for any injury or damage incurred at the park. 14. Owners/handlers are liable for damage or injury inflicted by their dog(s). 15. No dogs on athletic fields at any time.

Terrill Park Dog Park

Fenced park with separate areas for large and small dogs. This dog park is supported by Friends of the Concord Community Dog Park. Permits are required.

Mine Falls Dog Park

White Mountains National Forest

Kancamagus Highway from Lincoln to Conway NH runs through the White Mountain National Forest and allows dogs on leash and under voice command on the hiking trails. Dogs also allowed at Franconia State Park under control, but not in campgrounds. Carry in, carry out everything. $3 a day fee. Do not leave dog in car unattended, no dogs in campgrounds.

Livingston Park

Franconia Notch State Park

Franconia Notch State Park allows dogs on trails if on leash or under direct voice command. Dogs are not allowed in campgrounds, Flume Gorge or unattended in cars!

Derryfield Park

Manchester Dog Park

Manchester's first and only off-leash dog park is located on Bass Island on Second Street between West Hancock and Cleveland Streets. The 10,000 sq ft fenced area has a double gated entrance for your dog's safety.

Riverside Bark Dog Park

Rochester Dog Park

Jaffrey Community Field

Dogs are allowed off leash at this fully fenced in baseball field when the field is not in use by teams or town events. Owners must bring their own doggie pick up bags and clean up after their dogs. This park is located on the Rails to Trails which offers an easy walk and a few areas where your dog can cool off in the Contoocook river.

Benson Park

The Old Benson's Animal Park has been reopened to the public for all to enjoy. Plenty of trails, fishing, 911 Memorial, children's playgrounds, and Dog Park opening soon.

Hooksett Dog Park

Two off-leash fenced play areas. One for small dogs. Fairly basic but provides trash and bags. Pea gravel base can get muddy. Busy on the weekends. There is a boat ramp just past the park for dog swimming. I have heard the current can be swift so be careful. My dog hasn't been in without a leash attached.

Shaker Field Dog Park

Shaker Field Dog Park is an off-leash, fenced recreation area for dogs and their people. The park is free and open to the public. The park features three separate enclosures: one for small dogs (30 lbs and under), one for large dogs (over 30lbs), and a training area. The park has amenities such as benches, tunnels, rock piles and boulders, and tires. The training area is available for rent by the hour to individuals and trainers who wish to hold events, classes, or training sessions. See the website for more information.
