Seven Bridges Trail Head Leashed dogs are welcome along Seven Bridges Trail, a 5.78-mile, heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Colorado Springs, CO, that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The dog-friendly trail is primarily used for hiking, walking and running, and is best used from March through November. The trail leads to a little over 1,000 feet in elevation gain. John Denver Sanctuary John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen, CO is dog friendly. Cherry Creek State Park Dog Off-Leash Area (DOLA) With 107 acres to roam off-leash, Cherry Creek State Park Dog Off-Leash Area (DOLA) in Aurora, CO is a paradise for dogs. Fido can explore all the new smells, make new friends, and splash in the creek all day long. Bring water for your thirsty pup and bags to clean up any messes. There is a fee to enter Cherry Creek State Park and another nominal fee to use the off-leash area. For frequent visitors, yearly passes are available. Chatfield Dog Park Chatfield Dog Park in Littleton, CO, offers 70-acres of off-leash fun within Chatfield State Park. An Annual DOLA Pass or Daily DOLA Pass is required. Both are available at the Entrance Stations and the Park Office when staffed. The park offers various terrains for Fido to explore, multiple trails, and ponds for dogs to swim. Then explore everything else the dog-friendly Seven Falls has to offer. From delectable new dining options—including the exquisite 1859—gift shops, walking and hiking trails. Next to the Falls, a 224-step stairway leads to a system of trails that will take you onto Inspiration Point with a breath-taking view of Colorado Springs and the great plains beyond. Wildlife is everywhere, including hummingbirds, rainbow trout and the rare, waterfall nesting- American Dipper. Dogs on a leash no longer than six feet are allowed to explore the forested, lush and rocky canyon and take in the river as it "twists and crashes against huge boulders lining the canyon floor." This park is home to 25 campsites that can be hiked to, but you need to make a reservation to guarantee a spot for you and Fido.
