This 4.6 has six officially named waterfalls on this trip and a number of cascades and intermittent falls. Start your hike at Multnomah Falls or the Wahkeena Trail head. If you have a harder time with elevation climbs, its recommended to start on the Multnomah side where the trail has more switch backs and is paved. The trail is rated as moderately difficult. Take I-84 to exit 18, follow the road and cut back under 84, stay straight instead of getting on the on ramp and you will be in doggy heaven! Dogs must remain leashed on Confluence Trail.
