April brings six hotels that are welcoming furry guests for the first time. From beautiful coastal North Carolina to the heart of the Lone Star State, Fido can rest his paws at a variety of newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Nestled on the banks of the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington, Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center provides furry guests with a level of comfort and hospitality that has made Aloft one of the most dog-friendly hotel brands in the world. Pups receive blankets, water bowls, and Frisbees upon arrival. Cozy loft-style rooms feature laminate floors, mini refrigerators, complimentary high-speed internet, and scenic city or river views. Exercise in a state-of-the-art fitness center, play billiards in the WXYZ lounge, sip a cup of joe at the on-site coffee bar, and soak in stunning sunsets from the rooftop tapas bistro.

Sample a variety of refreshing local craft beer at nearby Edward Teach Brewing. Leashed pups are allowed both indoors and outdoors.

Hyatt Centric Mountain View

With its close proximity to Silicon Valley and Stanford University, Hyatt Centric Mountain View offers four-legged techies a luxurious spot to unwind. Modern rooms and suites are equipped with hardwood laminate floors, work desks, sleeper sofas, and mini refrigerators. Guests can work out in the 24-hour fitness center, take a soothing dip in the outdoor swimming pool/hot tub, and stock up on drinks and snacks in the lobby pantry. Dogs are permitted on the open-air patio at Fairchilds Public House, the on-site restaurant specializing in locally sourced comfort food.

Fido won’t have to go far to stretch his legs and exercise off leash. Village Green Dog Park is located directly behind the hotel.

Hyatt Centric Mountain View welcomes two pets up to 30 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay.

JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa

Located minutes from Disney World, JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa happily opens its doors for visiting Plutos. Spacious rooms and suites are outfitted with an array of amenities including floor-to-ceiling windows, large work desks, sofa sleepers, and picturesque views of Disney’s nightly fireworks display. Relax poolside in a private cabana, hit the on-site gym for cardio and weight training, dine on contemporary Japanese cuisine in the atmospheric rooftop lounge, and rejuvenate at the Spa by JW.

Fido may not be allowed in the theme parks, but he can get wet and wild at nearby Buena Vista Watersports. Spend a day at the dog-friendly beach, or rent a kayak or paddle board and tour Lake Bryan with your pup.

Hotel Maverick

Surrounded by breathtaking red rock canyons on the campus of Colorado Mesa University, Hotel Maverick appeals to the adventurous side of both humans and canines. Doggy beds and feeding bowls are available upon request. Nature-inspired rooms feature wood flooring, cozy sitting areas, mini refrigerators and Keurig coffee makers, and complimentary WiFi. Gourmet coffee and fresh baked goods are available in the lobby, and the rooftop lounge is the perfect spot for sunset or under the stars dining. Other amenities include an on-site gym, outdoor hot tub, and rental bikes for exploring.

Feast on delicious Mexican eats at a dog-friendly outdoor table at Fiesta Guadalajara, located a couple of blocks away.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Statesboro

Furry travelers searching for modern accommodations while passing through the Peach State will be pleased to find Home2 Suites by Hilton Statesboro. Roomy studio suites come equipped with work desks, living areas with sofa sleepers, and a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Parking, WiFi, and breakfast are all complimentary. Guests can also utilize the 24-hour fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, and fire pit patio with gas grills.

Dig into juicy burgers and hearty sandwiches at nearby Gnat’s Landing. Pups are allowed on the covered patio.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Statesboro accepts two pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 4 nights) and $125 (for longer stays).

Cowpups can kick off their boots and spurs at TownePlace Suites Fort Worth University Area Medical Center. Contemporary studios and suites designed for long-term stays include work desks with ergonomic chairs, living areas with sofa beds, and full kitchens with refrigerators, stovetops, and dishwashers. WiFi access and a hot breakfast buffet are offered free of charge, and on-site parking is available for $10 per day. Take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, laundry facilities, and BBQ picnic area with a fire pit.

Fido can walk miles of riverside trails and splash in the duck pond at Trinity Park, located less than a mile from the hotel.
