February brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From coastal Washington to the Windy City, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

The Bishop Hotel
Located steps from Port Townsend Bay, The Bishop Hotel provides boutique downtown lodging for two- and four-legged guests. Pups receive plush dog beds, yummy treats and cleanup bags upon arrival. Cozy suites feature separate living areas, fireplaces, sleeper sofas and kitchenettes with gas ranges. On-site parking and WiFi are complimentary. The serene garden courtyard is the perfect spot to unwind around the fire pits.
Savor a glass of vino on the dog-friendly patio overlooking the bay two blocks away at Vintage by Port Townsend Vineyards.

Stanton House El Paso
The ultramodern Stanton House El Paso offers downtown pet-friendly accommodations in a sophisticated setting that celebrates the city’s artistic roots. Luxurious rooms adorned with curated artwork include hardwood flooring, minibars, on-call butler service, all-marble bathrooms with waterfall showers, and scenic downtown and mountain views. Dine on international cuisine at the on-site restaurant, rejuvenate in the full-service spa and browse the hotel’s gallery showcasing artwork from around the globe.
Leashed pups can stroll through nearby San Jacinto Plaza, the former home of the city's historic alligator pond. Then, head two blocks east to enjoy delicious Tex-Mex cuisine on the dog-friendly patio at 501 Bar & Bistro.

Compass by Margaritaville Medford
Furry beachcombers can escape to a tropical paradise in the heart of Southern Oregon at Compass by Margaritaville Medford. Bright and airy island-themed rooms are equipped with hard surface flooring, cozy sitting chairs, mini refrigerators, Keurig coffee makers and LCD Smart TVs. Fuel up in the morning with a Sunrise at Compass complimentary breakfast, exercise in a state-of-the-art fitness center, take a dip in the outdoor pool, and order a burger at the poolside bar and grill.
Fido can run and play off leash at the fully fenced Medford Dog Park, located one mile from the hotel.

Hyatt Place Moab
Nestled within 15 miles of Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park, Hyatt Place Moab makes an ideal basecamp for exploring the region. Spacious rooms feature Cozy Corner living areas with sleeper beds, work desks, mini refrigerators and scenic views of the surrounding red rock landscape. Guests can take advantage of excellent property amenities like a 24/7 fitness center, on-site restaurant/bar, laundry facilities, and an outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub.
Off-leash fun can be found less than two miles away at Moab Dog Park, a fully fenced dirt space with water fountains and picnic tables.
Hyatt Place Moab accepts two dogs with a combined weight up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 6 nights) and $175 (for longer stays).
The Wren
Dogs of a feather will find a relaxing sanctuary at The Wren, located in the heart of downtown Missoula. Modern rooms with an eclectic style are outfitted with window desks, complimentary WiFi, flat-screen HDTVs and tile-floor walk-in showers. Grab a coffee from the on-site roasting company and enjoy it in the hotel’s quaint courtyard. Valet parking is available for a fee of $20 per day.
A variety of refreshing craft beer and a large dog-friendly patio is only two blocks away at Tamarack Brewing Company.
The Wren welcomes two dogs up to 90 lbs for an additional fee of $35 per night (not to exceed $70 per stay).
Warwick Allerton Chicago
