Pets will find more than enough room to play at this 29 acre, fenced dog park, set in the middle of the gorgeous Elm Creek Reserve. Permit required.

White Bear Dog Beach

Dogs may swim in a separate area as long as they do not cross into the public area. The property is about 100 feet wide and is not fenced.

Luce Line State Trail

The Luce Line State Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Minneapolis! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Luce Line State Trail. Next Chapter Winery

Next Chapter Winery is dog friendly. In the Barrel Room or in the Red Barn Tasting Room at the Next Chapter Winery, enjoy a tasting, glass of wine, an appetizer or meal, and a beautiful view of the vineyard. Tastings are $1/pour, though 4 tastings are complimentary with the purchase of a bottle of wine. If you’re so inclined, feel free to take a tour of the winery and vineyard to see where the magic happens. Please don’t hesitate to ask any of our friendly tasting room staff if you have any questions–we love to talk with people about our story and to hear your own! Angel of Hope Animal Rescue

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue works with local cats and dogs from animal controls and shelters. All of our foster pets live in foster homes with families while they get ready for adoption. Deborah Gillmaster creates a pencil drawn pet portrait from your photo. The finished portrait will be 9 X 12 and ready for matting and framing. The cost of the portraits are $35.00 with $5.00 going to local shelter or rescues to help with their continued wonderful help in finding great dogs good homes. Customer can request the donation be sent to a certain agency.
