The Heart Of The Community

This photo was taken in St. Michaels, MD. St. Michaels Police Department’s Patrolman First Class Kevin Rhodes rescues Buster the chihuahua, after Buster went missing for 4 days and 16 hours. Buster and family were visiting the area for the weekend & staying at the St. Michaels Inn. Buster’s Momma was devastated after he ran away. The Family stayed an extra day past their scheduled vacation to put up missing pup flyers around town. There were many Buster sightings over the next couple days but he was elusive. The community really pulled together to put an end to this wild-goose-chase. Many people called the Police department to tip officers & many commented on Facebook. Finally a phone call from a citizen in the Bentley Avenue area was just the ticket! PFC. Rhodes & the police department’s administrative assistant (and dog lover) Tiffany Sweeney responded to the call to bring Buster In safely.😌 They then reassured his momma he was in good hands with All Pets Veterinary Hospital. Shout out for exceptional care & compassion to Michael Coughlan, DVM & staff at All Pets! I love a happy ending!😍
