Great dog-friendly stay
Maple Terrace MotelLoved our stay here. Very clean room, warm service, very close to everything we wanted to see and visit in Williamstown and North Adams. We brought our dog and really appreciated the doggie welcome (bowl, towel, treats). Setup is really nice for a pet - you can go outside very easily and there is a beautiful large backyard with lots of grass where our dog was able to run around. There is a station with poop bags and garbage can. Highly recommend, we will definitely be coming back!

Mount Bald
Camden Hills State ParkGreat hike, about 4 miles and 2.5 h. Moderately steep, nothing crazy, wide trails. We went up the Ski Shelter Trail off Youngtown Road and then up the Bald Rock trail. You can download a map of the state park showing the parking lot location. Really nice views at the top. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant!
The Port TavernVery dog friendly-waitress brought out water for our little pup! Also liked their beer list-lots of local brews.
