I am picky! I like a good night's rest in clean and quality bedding on a comfortable bed where I might not have to find my flip flops to use the bathroom in the middle of the night! I slept well & Matilda settled right down (unlike the previous 2 nights). The hotel and room smelled fresh and clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent-omelettes & waffles! Clean area well maintained and serviced. The staff was so friendly and outgoing. Dog walking area was clean.

Pure JOY! Matilda ran this immaculately clean park end to end and more! After 2 days in the car and mediocre, dirty dog parks along the way, our girl had a ball!! Spacious and a good place to stretch everybody’s legs! There are lot’s of benches for sitting scattered around the space. The cost is $1.00 / hooman to come into this well equipped, beautifully maintained city park and IMHO that is more than fair. When we travel, we try to donate to the local dog parks we use. Shady, water(in season), bags and bins. BTW, the hooman restrooms are very nice too😁

Untidy dog space for #2. To be dog friendly you have to be owner friendly too. I do not appreciate getting poop on my shoes b/c people don’t pick up after their dogs. YOU just make it more difficult for the rest of us. People being what they are, either don’t allow dogs or have a staffer that scoops the area daily. BTW, thank you for the fair fee for my good dog.

The rooms were pretty dated. Magenta accent walls😳. There were plenty of places to set my chargers but the light on one side of the bed was too bright for a nightlight and too dim to be worth it. The TV buttons were pretty non-responsive on the remote. Not batteries, more like stuck buttons. My girl had trouble settling down -- I think she could smell previous four-legged guests. Beds and linens were comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staffer in charge was responsive and helpful. The relative cost was fair but I wouldn’t call our stay great.

used to be but not anymore. Food-Ok but mostly we went b/c we could bring our-super-well-behaved family member. Difficult too if one arrives by boat and has to walk all over the island that has decent food AND has space for the furry family member

This was a wonderful luncheon experience ! They were very patient with us ad we lingered through lunch at an outside table with our dogs. The prices are reasonable, beer & beverage options delicious and varied. And, of course, the wait staff pleasant and kind. Water for the doggos!!

A little smaller than we expected but our Matilda enjoyed herself immensely. Chased the frisbee, took care of business and headed out. It was quiet(no other dogs) biut a nice doggo respite from the truck😊. They have bags on site and bench for sitting.

If a place trades on the premise of ‘ dog friendly’ then it must make the effort to give doggos and owners a larger clean place to walk. There are no (zero) clean up stations with bags and disposal receptacles. And the visitors don’t pick up after their pets. My husband went to one section that seems to have been used by needle users. All this being said, the room was very clean and as nice as can be expected in this tier of hotel. The lobby area was nice, staff very pleasant and breakfast prepared with care. Lots of restaurants nearby-good variety. It would be VERY easy and low cost to make this location a 5 bone stop.

This La Quinta was super easy to access and the rooms were great! Clean and reasonably new. The staff was so kind and thoughtful and friendly! Breakfast was very good with the usual assortment of eggs, sausage, waffles yogurt, muffins etc. All clean tidy and fresh. The tables too! Always wiped clean when a party left. I will use this La Quinta again on our travels with doggo or without! A number of good eateries in walking distance.

Front desk was cheerful, but room location—caca. Now I’ll explain. This is a large rambling complex and did not appear to be too full; that said, we were in 3rd floor rooms that entailed wheeling our cart 50 yds uphill to get a hidden elevator to the 3rd floor to push the cart up a double switchback of grade to get to the 3rd floor of another bldg. This is also an older property that it appears they are working on upgrading section by section maybe. The rooms were clean and beds pretty comfy we all slept well. Warning: no grab bar in the shower and the cold water knob turned the wrong direction for water velocity. Breakfast was good w/eggs and sausage, waffles, cereal etc. The long schlep that we had to send someone to recon was why I didn’t give more bones. I would stop here again and just try to have a little more convenient room location.

This location is clean inside and out. Even the pea gravel in the xeriscaped perimeters are raked and clean. It was quiet with very (underlined) comfortable beds. Reception was welcoming and our breakfast was excellent. Quality food offerings and a well stocked clean breakfast area. The property is fresh and well cared for. We will arrange for this property next time through.

We all slept well. Comfortable beds, nearby Cracker Barrel for dinner. The property is dated but CLEAN! And the staff very nice. Breakfast was super and we were on our way bright & early. Thanks for making this place known to us BringFido!

CLEAN! Nice responsible doggo humans. Super nice Pups! Pleasant people. The locals are so fortunate to have an active community & Rotary club to provide a safe happy entertaining place for our canine companions

Dinner here was great! Nice heat lamps to ward off evening chill. Service was excellent and the food was prob’ly the best I’ve enjoyed in all my time in Tucson. They had just gotten some doggo bones and brought one to Matilda. I can’t wait to return!!!

We were only here one night but the entire experience was perfect. Nice fenced area for Matilda to stretch her legs, very clean bath/shower room, nice well equipped laundry, level spaces, and pleasant happy staff!

I don’t understand people that don’t pick up and assume responsibility for their dog’s poop. to compound the problem, both poop bag dispensers were empty. trashcans were overflowing. this could be nice. very unkind to dogs and responsible owners😕

This is a great dog park! Doggos can run and run and run with full floppy eared abandon!! we like to play hide and seek among the small trees and then rest n the shade on Adirondack type chairs s or benches in and the sun. There are 2 adjacent LARGE spaces with water. nice and clean!

This LaQuinta is a little tired but very clean and quiet. the bed and pillows were very comfortable and a/c was right (not too noisy or blowy). nice staff, good breakfast. could have done with a larger grassy area but it was clean and nicely maintained. Glad LaQuintas are so embracing to critter families.

After an arrival glitch, which was rectified immediately thanks to the professional team at BringFido we settled in to our comfortable room convenient to the side entrance and grassy area. Matilda was very happy and relaxed and slept well. the price was perfect for a quick one night in & out.

Matilda puts her paw of approval on this one! Water for her and a great late lunch on a Friday afternoon in August. Burgers cannot be beat and the salads creative and fresh. Didn’t try their alcohol bevs until the next morning when we stopped by after playing pickleball. Dawn makes a killer bloody mary and kept us laughing with passing banter. We’ll be back WOOF!

We had the pleasure of introducing our Matilda to a Colorado brewery patio on a busy Sunday afternoon. great beers, bloody marys were niceyspicey! Doggo water bowls provided. Chloe, our server was terrific and we felt like we were old friends by the time she went off shift. Kaitlyn took up the patio reins by making the acquaintance of all dogs present while ensuring our beverage’s and food needs were met. food was creative and yummy. we ALL had a great time!!!!

what a nice place! Matilda was welcomed and provided a nice bowl of cold delicious rocky mountain water! we sat on the patio and enjoyed a super yummy dinner. the garlic cheese curds with ranch are not to be missed and my fish tacos very good. my friends had the firecracker shrimp linguini and steak and shrimp. caesar salad was as it should be. all nicely plated and delivered with good cheer! I understand the rueben is excellent and prepared with a slight twist on the standard. we’ll be back!

Courteous clean and quiet! Matilda was very comfy here and we ALL slept very well. Beds were nice. Not much to add— the price was right and the standards of habitation were exceeded. Oh, and I am pretty picky. We had some pretty yucky experiences with other places we booked unseen at “name” hotels as we were traveling prior to here. Stay here.

It’s beachy. Dated but clean. The manager Ida was one of the most conscientious customer care persons I have ever encountered. Unflappable and gets things done when a dozen customers are clamoring for attention. Meanwhile, our Matilda got to enjoy the freezing waters of Lake Huron in a little separate pool area in the lake. Very fun. Don’t plan to take Fido to dine on outdoor patios in St Ignace though; they do not let dogs on the patios even though there are sources that say they do. Mackinac Island and the ferry system are pretty welcoming though.
