Grassy areas
Rocker InnWhile the room was on the small side, the flooring was solid surface. There was lots of grassy areas to take your dog to and there was little to no poop, thus dog owners must have been responsible owners and picked up after their dogs. Good access of getting off and onto the freeway. There was no fridge or microwave in room. Did like that there was only a shower, although did not use. Breakfast was ok; getting there at 7:30a many food items were gone. I do wish hotels would update their toilets to comfort height as an older adult who has had one knee surgery. I get tired of grabbing onto door frames and the shower/tub to lower myself down. Would probably stay there again.
Sufficient grassy area
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City - LaytonRoom was on the larger size but had carpet and solid surface. Sufficient grassy area for dogs and there was no/little dog poop on the grass. Would stay there again, although we do like a BW in Ogden (which was full) as it has a designated, off-leash dog "park. Wish all hotels would do this.
Good hotel for dogs
Bavarian Inn Black HillsVery nice grassy area for dogs and we were fortunate enough to have it right outside our door. Poop bags were available and there was little to no poop on the grass. Although we have bag carriers on all our leashes but appreciated their availability in case we ran out. Our room size was excellent for my sister and I and each of our dogs. Bathroom was of good size as well to place the dog's water bowl without being in the way. My one negative remark but this is for 99% of the hotels is the cost/dog/night. The dogs don't use any of the hotel supplies and if breakfast is available they aren't eating the food, so why a per night fee or a per dog as 2 dogs aren't taking up any more space than 1? Overall though, this was a lovely hotel/inn and close to so many things to see and do in the area. Be sure to check out the local brewery; good beer and food.
Grassy areas
Snow King Resort Hotel & Luxury ResidencesAlthough we were on lobby level, best way to access lawn without going through lobby was to take elevator down one level. Lawn are was sort of hilly and it seemed many dog owners don’t know how to use a poop bag especially in the area closest to the hotel. View from room is beautiful.
