Nice Stay!

I was provided a room on the bottom floor that had an exterior door that led right to my car for easy unloading of my dog and suitcase! The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were poop buckets located around the building for easy disposal of dog waste. My only “complaint” (me being nit-picky) is that the room had carpet with pet stains from previous pets. So all my dog wanted to do was sniff the carpet every chance he got. Would be easier not to have carpets in dog rooms. Apart from that, it was a great overnight stay!

Pretty good!

I was given a room on the bottom floor (which was great for my older dog) and one without carpet! Not having carpet is nice as my dog likes to smell everything! Friendly and welcoming staff, clean room, and plenty of parking for cars and trailers. The only reason I’m giving a 4/5 is because the entrance isn’t that great (swinging circle door) which made it hard for my pet, myself, and my stuff to come through and there wasn’t a great deal of space to walk my dog. I was traveling alone, but had I traveled with someone else, then the swinging door wouldn’t have been such an issue; you just can’t leave your pet alone in the room.

Pretty Good Stay

The location under new management as of June 1st (which is fine), but there were kinks that needed to be worked out. I booked through the app and when I arrived I was told it was fate that they had a room available. I was confused as I had booked the night before. Then I was put on the second floor of the hotel. I was traveling alone so that made it difficult to get my dog and belongings up the stairs (they don’t have an elevator). Then once I opened the door it stunk of a combination of BO and smoke.

There is a sign outside the door that says the room is for non-smoking, but that’s not what the room smelled like. There was also still trash in the trash cans so I am not sure if the room was actually properly cleaned before my arrival. Apart from this, it’s a nice location for a quick overnight stay. They provided me with a dog treat bag and there is plenty of parking for trucks with trailers, and grass for my dog to relieve himself. Friendly staff and the gas station which is next door is really nice with food choices.

Not great for pets

The staff was very kind and friendly, but this isn’t ideal for pets. The rooms are in the back of a bar and you can only use the main entrance so your pet runs the risk of stepping on broken glass from bottles in the parking lot. There isn’t really anywhere to walk your pet (after you get through the parking lot of glass). The rooms are not air conditioned so if you have a furrier dog they are going to be miserable. They don’t charge a pet fee which is nice, but doesn’t offset the comfort of yourself and pet. Also, not super clean.
