Historic hotel
Genetti Hotel SureStay Collection by Best WesternOld hotel in downtown Williamsport. Staff dog friendly, room on the small side but quiet. Not much green area for dog walking but there is a river walk about half a mile away.

Great place
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelNice hotel in a great location. Right near a big park above the River and a nice square just up the street. Great walking opportunities, clean, good food in the restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Very dog friendly as is the city.

Nice People
Super 8 by Wyndham StroudsburgHotel is OK but not great. Very nice staff, clean room, but not a great neighborhood for walking the dog. Seemed safe but not much of anywhere to walk.

Not so great
Best Western Dunkirk & Fredonia InnWe stayed in several Best Westerns on our trip from the East Coast to Wyoming. Most of them were great but this one was disappointing. The staff was borderline rude, the place was noisy in the middle of the night, there was nowhere close to walk a dog, and they added unspecified charges to our bill. Would not go there again.

Radisson Hotel La CrosseWe really liked this hotel. It’s in a fabulous location right on the Mississippi River with a big park right across the street. Good local restaurants within easy walking distance. We would definitely come here again.

Fine place to stay
Staybridge Suites Elkhart an IHG HotelThis hotel is right off I-90 so there’s not a lot of interest in the immediate neighborhood. However, it’s comfortable, clean, and very dog friendly. We found a nice conservation area for a walk about 5 miles away.

Nice, simple place
Big Bear MotelBig Bear is an old fashioned motel, comfortable and friendly. It was quiet, clean, no breakfast but that was OK. The only thing not good was there was nothing but pavement on the property. No place for dogs to go.
