Great Location, Clean
Best Western Plus Dalton InnThis was a great stop before Chattanooga coming up from Florida. The hotel was clean and updated. There were lots of food and gas options. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that we were put on the second floor which made it difficult to take our dog out to do his business. I walked around the whole property and saw others doing the same and I didn’t see a designated area for dogs outside, maybe I missed it. There was a green space between the hotel and the business next door. The hotel and staff were pet friendly and there was a sign you could put on the door if your pet was inside the room for housekeeping. Overall a great stay!

Convenient Stop
La Quinta by Wyndham KennesawStopped here on our way down to Florida. It was just before Atlanta which made our morning drive through the city easy. The hotel was very pet friendly. The room was conveniently located on the first floor. There was a small designated pet area off the side door with bags. The room was just ok. It was a little outdated. The bed was very tall for some reason which made it hard for our medium sized dog to jump up and down. The hotel was very quiet, which was nice.

Just OK
Howard Johnson Hotel & Suites by Wyndham OacomaStayed here on a cross country trip. Chose to stay at another hotel on the return trip. Room was spacious but one of the beds smelled like urine. Dog smelled some areas on the floor. Staff wasn’t very helpful. Parking in this small lot was a bit of a nightmare. Lots of trailers and not enough space. Breakfast was a full breakfast even in COVID times which was a pleasant surprise. Not a lot of green space for the dog to do business.

Clean & friendly
La Quinta by Wyndham ButteStayed here going both ways on a cross country trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but very small. We have a smaller dog so not a big deal for us. Shower head was clogged in both rooms. WiFi was an issue both times we stayed. Front desk tried to help but it still didn’t work. Due to COVID breakfast was brown bagged but good with lots of options. Lots of parking for trailers in the back. Dog didn’t do a lot of sniffing around which is a good sign. Overall good experience.

Clean & Friendly
Quality Inn OacomaOn our way back through on a cross country trip. We stayed at another hotel in Oacoma on the way over. Room was very spacious and clean. Our dog didn’t do a lot of sniffing around which is usually a good sign. Person checking us in was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little soft for my liking but that is a personal preference. The air conditioner was loud but thankfully drowned out any road noise. Due to COVID, breakfast was limited but we found a couple of breakfast sandwiches to heat up in the microwave. I would say overall a good experience at a fair price.
