Outstanding Pet Stay
Best Western Plus WaynesboroWe had a wonderful stay here with our pet pal Amos the Longhaired Dachshund! Accommodations were clean and the room was a generous size. Excellent walking areas, a nice hot/cold breakfast buffet and helpful staff added to a very pleasant stay. Although this property is a few miles off I-81, it is worth the very short detour to Waynesboro. We give it 6 bones!
A Step up
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Fredericksburg South (I-95) VAVery nice property with comfortable first floor rooms and plenty of lawn for pet walks. Some rooms are connecting and have doors that may prove overly interesting if you have a hunting hound!
Needs refurbishing
Baymont by Wyndham Savannah SouthOur room was barren and unwelcoming. The towels were microscopic and scratchy. Furniture was very worn. The pet walking areas were overrun with feral cats which made our long haired dachshund go into serious hunting mode and made walking him very difficult. There was a nice breakfast served. We do Not Recommend this hotel.
Good location shabby room
Ramada Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham JacksonvilleThis is well located south of Jacksonville with good restaurant choices nearby. Easy access to dog walking. The room was badly in need of updating with old, thread-bare carpet and old fashioned plumbing. It was well priced.
