Good location

Had an incident where at 4:30am there was a knock on the door when answered the person on the other side said they need to check the room my response was I don't know you and was not going to open the door unless the front desk called me to verify who was on the other side. The front desk did call and said they had an issue with their panel and needed to check the room. The person on the other side came back I opened the door so he could inspect he came in with attitude did not say one word then left without informing me of the problem or consideration for waking us up.

I went to the front desk later on the at day to complain and provide feedback ion how the situation should have gone first being the front desk calling us to inform us of the problem and that someone was coming up to inspect, then when the gentleman that came in to inspect should let us know what the problem was then apologize for the inconvenience. The lady at the front desk taking my complaint was very apologetic and said she would let management know but I don't know if they received the complaint due to no follow up. Other than that it would have been 5 bones. Staff for the most part was friendly, rooms clean, bed comfy and breakfast was good.

Needs updating

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and this is a smoke free room. The floors had sections coming apart just needs to be updated.

Bad experience

Hotel has been updated. The gentleman at the front desk during check-in very friendly. Room looked clean for the most part the issue was when we went to sleep the bed. Sheets and pillowcases looked clean but the pillows had a distinct sweat funk odor, probably on the pillow itself not the pillowcase but should have been caught. Cleanup begs to think what else was missed. If not for this it would have been 4-5 bones.

Will go again

First stay here and can say they care about their facility room was clean grounds well maintained and they have a good area for the dogs to play off leash at the front desk they have jars of treats for the fur babies. The people that we interacted with was very friendly. Didn't get to use the pool on this trip but did look at it and it was very inviting. We will be going back again very soon.

Good location

Resort is very clean and comfortable, somewhat pricey when you add the resort fee which does not cover the beach cabanas, the pet policy was slightly confusing it states you can not leave dog in the room alone but according to front desk you can as long as the room has already been cleaned by housekeeping or you let them know the other was the beach according to the policy the county does not allow dogs on the beach but again there is a photo of a person with their dog in the resort's website on the beach so I asked the front desk and they said yes that is true but since there are no lifeguards in that area they have not had an issue with dogs on the beach but it would be at your own risk.
