New hotel
AC Hotel by Marriott Frisco ColoradoClose to I-70 that it’s noisy. They are remodeling another property and didn’t sound proof the windows. They also don’t allow the windows to open for fresh air. The grounds are a mess. Breakfast isn’t included. Walking distance to Safeway and Vaseline camp - this is an excellent choice for food. Groceries, coffee and beer. Hope they get it figured out.

Awesome Bookstore
The Bookworm of EdwardsThe menu is creative.
The store is fabulous but such a bummer we can’t visit with a leashed pet.
Outside seating is plentiful.

Dumpy hotel
Holiday Inn Express Las Vegas-Nellis an IHG HotelTwo rooms were both gross. Checked and and was told they wouldn’t give me a refund. Don’t stay here. Went up the street to Motel 6 and saved $30 - got a clean and quiet room.

had a room by the pool- only complaint is people still don’t clean up after their dogs at the potty station.... come on folks

no toilets or water so come prepared - little shade. first part of hike is rock and fairly steep then it levels off. worth the effort.

The Beanstaying here 2 nights on a trip back to So Ca so that Sam ( the sheepadoodle) can take a dock diving lesson and we can enjoy the sites!

included breakfast is now ordered and delivered as takeout - so smart.
on the main drag so a bit of road noise all night.
$15 pet fee.

Hwy40 stop
Wildflower Bread Companytraveling with the dog and decided to stop here on a Sunday. Parking is problematic because the whole shopping area is packed. Covid makes a heavy competition for the outside seating area. misters would be really nice- I had to go ask for a water bowl and fill it at the soda station..
