Great rate
The Classic Desert Aire HotelLarge road trip-type hotel, traditional 2-story facility with all outside opening rooms. Parking is right outside your room, plus plenty of additional parking and picnic tables. Older venue but well maintained. Rooms were spacious enough, clean, nice bed and tile floor. No grass whatsoever for dog bathroom business, but small patches of Astroturf along the sidewalk and gravel area intended for the dogs. Great location along the main street of Alamogordo and plenty of fast-food and sit down restaurants close by. Complimentary made-to-order breakfast was delightful, albeit limited choices, and there were additional items on the menu for sale. Overall, a great choice for a great price.
Great grass areas
Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa/CatoosaVery nice, modern hotel, clean. Small but nice grassy spot out the backdoor with poop bags and garbage bin available; also, other big hotels next door and large open grassy area behind hotel. Rooms are quiet and usual amenities, generous complimentary breakfast. Only “complaint” is that the dark carpet in the room was quite dirty - use slippers.
OMG, best place to stay!
Benton Park InnWhat a rare find. Beautiful historic home is now a spacious B&B. Dan, the owner and host, was so welcoming and helpful, knowledgeable and calming (after our long day of the road trip). All the amenities offered, spacious well-appointed rooms, and private baths added to this experience. Perfect location for our stay, and our dog, Amber, loved the park across the street. Dan recommended several dinner options within walking distance. Great value for the price; so worth every penny. Highly recommend!!
Great value, near Interstate
The Westerner - Extended StayTwo hotel brands share this venue and a little confusing, plus Google Maps had trouble routing us to the location. I believe the hotel is undergoing a renovation; older venue and various stages of updates. Overall, a great value, very dog friendly and very family friendly. 3 stories of interior facing rooms surrounding the indoor pool and various play activities. Breakfast included, standard fare. TV did not offer much diversion; you needed to use your own private account for Netflix, Apple, or Roku.
Great find!
Del's RestaurantFound this restaurant on BringFido and sought it out based on reviews, both for the dog-friendly welcome and also for the menu. Excellent! My pot roast was so yummy and perfect comfort food, my husband had delightful enchiladas and our dog super-enjoyed her chicken and rice from the dog menu. all staff were wonderful, friendly, and engaging. Our server, Kaylin, was extremely attentive despite 100 degree temp. plenty of big umbrellas to offer a nice shady patio (and cushions on the picnic table bench would have been a nice bonus)
Alcohol and dog-friendly patio!
ZpizzaWonderful family dinner on eastern patio, which is shady in afternoon. Owner /manager very attentive and welcoming.
Great craft beer selection.
We come here often, our local neighborhood
Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bargreat food menu, fun bar area but we love the large dog-friendly patio.
Wonderful hotel, great location and very Dog friendly!
The Plaza HotelRelaxed atmosphere, quality retro boutique-type hotel. Very dog friendly
Beautiful patio, at the shore of Lake Michigan
Harbor HouseSpacious, lovely patio, very dog-friendly and dog-welcoming. This restaurant is a little more upscale but outside patio ambiance remains wonderfully casual. Excellent quality seafood menu!
highly recommend this patio.
Inside the brewery!
Milwaukee Brewing CompanyJust took a Milwaukee city tour (which was dog-friendly inside the small doorless car), and guess what - - Huge modern brewery is dog-friendly inside! Restaurant to the left but continue to the right for spacious bar area which is dog-friendly, air conditioned, and very welcoming to our Pittie! Brought out bowl of water and welcomed our fur-baby. Delicious beer and wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place🐕🐕👍
Beautiful evening outside
Red Lion PubHuge Irish pub with great menu, and huge patio upstairs overlooking Milwaukee River. Very dog friendly, casual and urban vibe!
Our dog loved Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon National ParkWe stayed at a dog-friendly hotel outside the gates of the park, but our dog was certainly welcome inside the park. She is well behaved and we kept her on a leash at all times. Park Rangers were delightfully engaging with our dog and would gently remind us of pet restrictions or expectations. If you look at the website, the pet policy is very clear. No surprises and we all enjoyed our time visiting Bryce Canyon.
One morning, my husband relaxed with the dog while I hiked into the canyon; I STRONGLY RECOMMEND the moderate hike "Queen's/Navajo Combination Loop"; Talked to the ranger first, and she explained why it is helpful to do this loop in a clockwise direction. Loved the evening Ranger Programs, just too bad they are limiting numbers allowed in the audience due to social distancing.
Great location, very dog-friendly
Drury Inn & Suites FlagstaffExcellent, quality hotel and a great rate. Included with daily rate was a 5:30pm generous happy hour with light hor'dourves (pasta and chicken strips, and 3 glasses of wine). We loved our 6th floor balcony and watching the activity of the neighborhood. Very dog-friendly staff and factility. Highly recommend this. Good location for microbreweries or visiting NAU.
Great location for Bryce Canyon
Best Western Plus Ruby's InnWe loved Ruby's Best Western. Casual lodge-type accommodations were perfect for our dog and for us. We requested a first floor room facing the lake ($10 extra for lakeview) and well worth it; otherwise you are facing parking lot with more cars and another lodge across from you. This hotel is a huge complex with many on-site services. It was nice to walk our dog through the campgrounds, the big grassy areas, and around the grounds. It was nice to use the free shuttle service into the park, although the dog is not allowed on the bus. Overall, Bryce Canyon Park is reasonably dog-friendly and we had an excellent visit. Read the pet policy on www.nps.gov/brca for the park itself.
Excellent Food! Best craft beers! So dog-friendly!
Half Door Brewing CompanyThis may have been our favorite place. Quaint craft brewery with fabulous porch, very dog-friendly and welcoming. Excellent food and craft beers. Their menu and beer style has a British and European flair, so something a little different. Best Shepard's Pie ever. A few blocks from Petco Ballpark. Check it out
Great location, very dog-friendly
Knotty BarrelThis was probably our favorite place during our 4-day San Diego stay. Excellent brewpub: Knotty Barrel is the huge Gastropub with fabulous outside seating, very dog-friendly, and EXCELLENT FOOD. Walking distance to Petco Ballpark. Next door is their Knotty Brewing for beer only.
Great location, very dog-friendly
Bolt BreweryExtended patio on the weekend, which means more dog-friendly space for all the pups. Great menu, water for the dogs, staff attentive and friendly to the dogs. And great craft beers! Lots of walking around Little Italy and all is quite dog-friendly.
Great location, very dog-friendly
Wyndham San Diego BaysideIt was during the 2020 Pandemic and California shutdown, so services were somewhat limited and probably not as crowded as would normally be during July. Having said that, this is a great hotel for a dog. Our Pittie-mix dog is almost 60 pounds and from the desert. She loved the activity of the hotel and watching from her balcony (thanks to reading other reviews, we did upgrade and get the Bay View for a little extra money). Plenty of grassy space at the hotel and lots of grassy space around the neighborhood. We loved walking the Embarcadero and walked throughout Little Italy. So much to do and many restaurants, most with dog-friendly patios .
Near The original dogpark - Ocean Neach
Daybreak Island Grillgreat patio, dog hooks for my leash, excellent breakfast with a Hawaiian flair. try the Mowie Wowie pancakes😋
Gotta Try It!
The Original Dog BeachMy dog is a desert dog, from Arizona. Was a little unsure of the big sandy beach and very unsure of the water coming toward her at the shoreline. however, had a great time and definitely had to check it out since we were here. it was late afternoon and not too crowded or crazy, but lots of dogs running free and enjoying the experience. People seemed pretty responsible and reasonably attentive to the dog action.
Excellent large, shady patio😎🐕
Macky's Grillstopped for lunch. table are socially distanced, plenty of shade under their overhead patio and umbrellas at outlying tables. great menu for humans, and ordered grilled chicken breast (off the menu) for our Fido. staff was friendly and accommodating!
